Posted On: 10/15/2015 Opportunities to be appreciative for service given by others is far to rare to let pass without recognition. After experiencing an attack from another dentist, for the work he performed was very unsettling, you and your staff provided me with kindness and a solution to an unpleasant problem. The tooth has never felt so secure and comfortable. Thank you for your professional ability, expertise, and kindness.

I'm truly impressed by your great capabilities in handling and managing your patients. You have shown these qualities the best way you can with meaning and purpose behind the service you render. Pam, Julie, Trish and the office staff has been a blessing for taking part of my dental care. I will be forever grateful to all of you for your efficiency and caring attitude.

Posted On: 10/15/2015 For your possible interest, this is sent to confirm the information you provided to me on my November 30, 2010, appointment regarding the recent passing of Dick Brown. As previously mentioned, Dick, his two brothers and I all attended San Juan High School at approximately the same time (i.e. late 1930's and early 1940's). I still maintain some slight contact with that institution via the tri-annual SPARTAN NEWS, published by the San Juan Alumni Association. It was from their January 2011 edition that I obtained Dick's obituary and his photograph. For reference, you may recall that it was back in 1995 when Dick referred me to you when I asked him if he could recommend a 'good' periodontist. In addition to all of Dick's many other splendid attributes, boy, he truly did know and recognize a superb periodontist! My utmost appreciation and thanks for your kind and excellent services. I hope to see you next for my scheduled May 24, 2011, appointment. In the meantime, I hope this find you, yours and your wonderful staff happy and in the best possible health. Derk

He is my hero. I am 52 and was diagnosed with Gingivitis at the age of 18. I have experienced multiple levels of discomfort, and often treatments that were unnecessary for my condition from dentist in both Sacramento and Chicago. I had what seemed bi-annual cleaning surgeries. This effort was a temporary fix to a deeper problem; I had infection that wasn't going away. I had these forms of treatments for 17 years and though the infection had down times due to the drastic measures of cleaning bone; the infection itself was never treated. This is some of what I have learned from Dr. John, and have been in his care ever since.
In 1995 I had a dentist who acknowledged I was beyond his level of expertise of perio disease and referred me to a periodontal specialist: Dr. John Carson. Dr. John listened to my long and eventful dental history, did not belittle my experiences and with a look of positivity in his face said, let's take a different approach with your disease. I will never forget that moment because up to that point, it had all been a long and grim horror story of dental procedures. The good Dr. John took a specimen from my gums and then had it diagnosed to see what types of antibiotics were required to 'nail' the culprit. I no longer need bone scraping.
You can imagine the bone loss I have experienced over the years and Dr. John has performed for me sinus lifts, bone grafting, and beautiful implants which I love. Coupled with my disease is the extreme recession of my gums. Dr. Carson has repaired these areas with the same measure of 'perfection' that he is always demanding. I am always pleased when discussions arise about the latest and greatest news in the field of periodontal disease. I wish to keep my teeth as long as I can and Dr. Carson is an advocate and supports my decision.
Administration Aficionado is Class A- Traci is my angel. The staff and I have been growing older together; I know them well and trust them. The staff always goes the extra mile for me with a caring smile and willing attitude. Everyone is pleasant, professional, state of the art office and ran with efficiency. My personal hygienist, Denise, the best there is, she knows my mouth like a book. To live with gum disease is a misfortune. To have an office available to support me and my care like Dr. Carson provided and continues to provide which is why we are now in the 2nd decade of our relationship, is good fortune. Dr. Carson and his band of amazing professionals I am forever in their debt. Vicky
